Melbourne at night

If you ask us to choose between being in the city or being in the ocean, the ocean wins on most occasions!  But sometimes, a wander around the Docklands of Melbourne at night has a special appeal.

So during crisp winter evenings, I sometimes take the opportunity to experiment with night photography in the company of photographer friend, Leanne Cole: no Milky Way, no starry nights, but sunsets, the magic blue hour and plenty of illuminations and reflections as the city buildings light up.

  1. Hi TakeitEasy,

We were put onto your lovely blog by our friend Meredith who rowed beside you in Port MacQuarie.

We are a couple who cruise in our 38′ Seawind 1160 ‘Nimrod’, and also enjoy photography.

    This our blog. http://nimrodcat.blogspot.com.au

I hope our paths cross one day.

    Cheers
