  1. Hi Christine,

My name is Lauren Hook and I work for Office of Environment and Heritage as a Threatened Species Officer on the Glossies in the Mist (GITM) project. The GITM project is focused on the conservation of the Glossy Black-Cockatoo in the Southern Highlands and Tablelands. Part of the project is collecting sighting records of Glossies from the public which has been going well but there is only one problem …. Sometimes members of the public get Glossies mixed up with Yellow- tailed Black-Cockatoos. Your photos of Yellow-tails are so good at showing their diagnostic features and are also stunning, so I am writing to ask if I can use your photos in a newsletter and on the Glossies in the Mist facebook page as a comparison photo to highlight the differences to a glossy. I will fully credit you and am happy to share your website on our FB page.
Let me know what you think. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions.

Your life looks amazing, nice job!

    Cheers,
    Lauren
